I assume that the Georgie Basford, age 6, listed in the 1880 census, [540] must be the wife with the somewhat illegible name living with her husband Edward Smith, and her mother Prothesia Basford in the 1900 census [541] since the ages would match. The name of Edward Smith’s wife in the 1910 census is pretty clearly Ada B. [546] Perhaps Georgie was a nickname?
